It all started with a simple phone call. Karin Lidbeck-Brent, who said she worked on projects for Better Homes and Gardens, called to say that she was interested in our products and could we send her a sample. Not only did I send her a sample of the kit, I also sent her an actual Globe Ice Lantern packed in dry ice. After that, I offered to drive a load of lanterns out to the shoot--in Connecticut! She may have thought I was crazy, but it did not stop her from letting me help with the shoot and then take me to dinner. I loved it! All the lugging and traveling was all worth it. Loading 2,000 pounds of ice lanterns into our trailer, driving through the mountains of Pennsylvania in a snowstorm-at night, the waiting and the worrying was all worth it. Thank you to Karin and Better Homes and Gardens magazine for the opportunity!
